Who I am
I’m James Johnson or JJ, and I write like my life depends on it.
Because at one point, it did.
I didn’t start writing to entertain or impress anybody — I started because I needed to understand what the hell was going on. In the world, in my head, in history, in everything. What’s real, what’s fake, what’s hidden, what’s screaming in plain sight. I’ve always chased understanding first. Writing just became the way I hunted it down.
Somehow, along the way, I’ve written over a hundred books. I’m just getting started.
Most of what I write looks like history, psychology, ideology, or personal philosophy. But under the hood, it’s all Trojan Horse stuff — truth dressed up like stories, or stories that unravel truth. I don’t pretend to have all the answers. I just try to ask the questions no one else wants to. The kind that get under your skin and don’t go away.
I’m from Dayton, Ohio — born and raised in the Midwest. I love my dog, Stoney. I love cheese more than I should probably admit. I watch football, I work hard, I mess up, I learn. Who Dey.
If something in these pages punches you in the gut — good. That means it’s working.
